What We Believe

We are a Bible-believing, Christ-centered church in the Southern Baptist tradition. Our faith is grounded in the Baptist Faith & Message.

• Scripture — The Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God — our supreme standard for faith and practice.
• God — There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• Man — All people are created in God’s image and are of infinite worth, yet all have sinned and stand in need of salvation.
• Salvation — Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Those who trust in Christ are eternally secure in Him.
• Baptism — We practice believer’s baptism by immersion as an act of obedience following salvation, not as a means of it.
• The Church — The local church is an autonomous congregation of baptized believers, called to worship, make disciples, and serve the world.
• Priesthood of Believers — Every believer has direct access to God through Christ and is responsible to Him alone for matters of conscience and faith.
• Eternity — We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people — believers to eternal life with God, the unbelieving to eternal separation from Him.
